Volunteers are encouraged in the classroom, office, or kitchen at any time and for any length of time. If you are unable to find transportation to the center, LCSS Head Start staff can provide at-home volunteer opportunities. The following are some of the volunteer opportunities available:

Adopt-A-Classroom Program

Another way you can contribute to LCSS Head Start is by adopting a classroom. Many opportunities exist through our Adopt-A-Classroom program:

Volunteer by being a 'Helping Hand' in the classroom through working with the children and spending time with them.

Supply learning materials for our dramatic play, computer, music, science, or literacy areas.

Donate or provide incentives for our parents and children. Incentives encourage participation and attendance within our program.
