Transportation

Medical Assistance Transportation Program

Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) provides free transportation services to Lawrence County Residents who have a valid Medical Assistance Card through the Department of Public Welfare. Eligible destinations through the MATP are medical providers, pharmacies, and support services that bill medical assistance for services rendered.

In order to provide the least costly type of transportation, which meets the client's needs, LCSS offers several modes of transportation. These modes include New Castle Area Transit Authority bus tickets, private mileage reimbursement at $.31 per mile, and trips on ACTS Buses.
