ACCESS Lawrence County offers accessibility to individuals who are permanently or temporarily disabled. This is funded in part through grant monies provided by the Department of Community and Economic Development and the Almira Foundation. The significant difference in this program is the provision of volunteers from faith-based organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and from school districts.
The Partnership is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life within Lawrence County by eliminating and preventing the causes and effects of poverty by mobilizing and directing resources to assist, educate and promote self-sufficiency.
