LCSS is an investing partner in the local Team Pennsylvania CareerLink. Many county residents are serviced by way of Information and Referral, through the provisions of Core Services to all CareerLink clients at the CareerLink site. The CareerLink is a cooperative effort to provide one-stop delivery of career services to job seekers, employers, and other interested individuals. The CareerLink is dedicated to providing low-income youth and adults with comprehensive employment and education assistance. For low-income persons being serviced by our programming, participants benefit from career assessments, employment readiness workshops and a professional resume. By working one-on-one with clients, case managers can help them identify barriers and isolate issues while determining and working toward future goals.
