CORP is funded through the Lawrence and Mercer County Workforce Investment Board (WIB). This program is funded through West Central Job Partnership's Workforce Investment Act (WIA). It is a unique program combination that proves to give every student the "real world" experience necessary to prepare them for their future careers by improving work-readiness skills, basic skills, and occupational skills. Through CORP youth participate in workforce development activities and services that enable them to obtain, retain and advance in employment. CORP is designed to serve youth ages 14-18 and is accessible to all in-school youth within Lawrence County and those attending Vocational and Alternative Education Schools who meet the eligibility requirements.
