Modeled after LCSS’s week long adult housing related community service project, His Hands Jr. allows students enrolled in the Construction Trades program at Lawrence County Career & Technical Center, to participate in a semester of service that addresses local poverty and housing issues. These students will assess community housing needs, plan, and conduct internal and external home repairs for low income residents. LCCTC Trade’s students will be leaders of this community-wide home improvement initiative, creating improvements in safety and making a positive impact on the community’s appearance.

General Services Provided:
• LCCTC Construction Trades housing improvement service learning project.
• High School students completing much needed home repair projects for low-income residents.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Students must be enrolled in the Construction Trades program at LCCTC.
