Shared-Ride Program for Persons with Disabilities

Through the Shared-Ride Program for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), clients between the ages of 18 and 64 that have a documented disability are able to ride the ACTS Buses for a reduced fare. Riders may ride with ACTS to any location within the service area, although the PwD Sponsor cannot be used in place of trips that are sponsored by another program. Interested individuals must complete a Registration Form with ACTS.

General Services Provided:
• Provides transportation to travel to work as well as shopping, medical trips etc, for a reduced fare.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Target population: individuals between the ages of 18 and 64 that have a documented disability.
• No income guidelines apply.

Lawrence County
When: June 3rd and 5th from 5:30pm to 9:30pm
Where: LCCAP Main Office

When: June 11th and 13th from 5:30pm to 9:30pm
Where: Penn State Shenango Campus
