His Hands

His Hands Ministries, an innovative partnership between Lawrence County Community Action Partnership (LCCAP) and the Greater New Castle Ministerial Fellowship, provides free home maintenance and repairs to families in need, including: the elderly, low income individuals and disabled individuals. His Hands Ministries’ mission is to mobilize local volunteers to impact Lawrence County by providing meaningful services to those in need. Work teams are not professional contractors, but instead consist of able bodied persons age 12 and older. At least one knowledgeable adult is on every team to organize and supervise the project. Teams do most home repair projects, including, but not limited to painting, carpentry, dry wall, yard work, roofing, masonry and some plumbing.

General Services Provided:
• Provides free home maintenance and repairs to families in need with the help of volunteers.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Target population includes: the elderly, low income individuals and disabled individuals.
• Income guidelines: 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Please contact LCCAP at 724-658-7258 for more information.
