C. Riley Stoy Award

New Castle, PA (5/21/2012) - LCCAP staff and programs once again made headlines! CEO Tom Scott, Healthy Homes Director, Jennifer Elliott and Emergency & Community Services Director, Debby Hennon were honored recipients of the C. Riley Stoy award. This award, is generally presented to individual recipient’s, chosen by a committee of peers and the DCED staff. This year it took a new twist with the recognition of the collaborative work of all three individuals.

Regional Employment Transportation Coordination (RETC)

New Castle, PA (5/14/2012) - We provide information about all transportation options in our service area and are most interested in helping job seekers and employed individuals find an appropriate mode of transportation to get to a job site. 2.48 Million Dollar LEAD Grant Awarded to LCCAP's Healthy Homes Department

New Castle, PA (4/10/2012) - On Tuesday April 10th, LCCAP's Ben Franklin Early Learning Center was the gathering site for many to watch Jane Vincent, Regional Administrator for Region III of the HUD Pittsburgh Field Office along with Edward Thomas, Healthy Homes Representative, present a check to LCCAP's Healthy Homes Department on behalf of Lawrence County in the amount of 2.48 million dollars. These dollars will be spent on lead poison prevention as well as other home health and safety hazards in Lawrence County and surrounding partnered areas.
